Colored Hearts – Fingers with Brushes of Hope

On the evening of Wednesday, October 9, 2024, the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation, in collaboration with ArtUAE, hosted an inspiring art exhibition titled “Colored Hearts – Fingers with Brushes of Hope.” The event, held at 7:30 PM, showcased a collection of over 118 extraordinary paintings created by children of determination alongside non-disabled children, uniting their unique talents and shared aspirations on a single platform.

The exhibition was graciously inaugurated by Her Highness Sheikha Shamsa bint Hasher Al Maktoum, the honorary president of the Iqraa and Enjoy Center, under whose patronage the initiative flourished. Esteemed guests in attendance included Amna Al Dhahery, Hessa Mubarak Al Jaflah, and Wedad Bushnain Al Jaflah, whose support underscored the importance of fostering inclusivity and empowerment through art.

These vibrant artworks were the culmination of months of dedicated workshops conducted by the Iqraa and Enjoy Center, led by artist Kawthar Sabri Al-Qunai, Dean and Advisor of the center and Head of the Support Team for People of Determination. Under her expert guidance, the young artists explored their creative potential, translating their dreams, emotions, and resilience into vivid colors and bold brushstrokes.

Colored Hearts – Fingers with Brushes of Hope served as a profound reminder of the unifying power of art, breaking down barriers and celebrating the spirit of inclusion. By bringing together children of determination and their peers, the exhibition exemplified a future built on compassion, creativity, and shared hope—a vision deeply aligned with the cultural and artistic mission of the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation and ArtUAE.
